Human Skull,Atlas of the Human Skull

When I took osteology, we relied heavily on White’s Human Osteology and were frustrated by the less than wonderful photographs and text. I came across this book a year later and wished so much that I’d had it earlier! The photographs are much larger and better marked (with letters and numbers overlying features, rather than marked off to the side with ambiguos arrows). There is little text, but it isn’t needed! The photographs and labels tell you everything you need to know. Every foramen is listed with what passes through it. The sections include: articulated skull, disarticulated bones of the crania and face, muscle attachments, anthropological landmarks, and radiological landmarks. The appendices include articulations, classifications, foramina and ossification centers for each bone. It’s truly wonderful!
